THE BIPOC AFFORDABLE REHEARSAL RENTAL PROGRAM

For qualifying BIPOC artists and entities, Teatro Círculo’s Affordable Rental Program provides 1,500 hours of deeply discounted rentals to BIPOC artists and entities for $10/hour at our modernized 3rd FLoor studio space.

The days and times the space will be available will be the PEAK times of Monday – Friday 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Saturday 9:00 AM to 11:00PM, excluding Sundays, Federal Holidays and weeks when Teatro Círculo uses the space.

BIPOC (Black & Indigious People of Color) access to affordable rental signals our intention of creating a safe space where emerging writers, actors, directors, dancers and performance-based artists are encouraged to imagine strong, while supporting each other through the process of creation.  We believe accessible rehearsal space for the creative performing arts can provide a vision and advocacy platform for antiracism, equitable funding and structural support for culturally-specific artists and performance groups in New York.
