Mayor Adams, Department of Cultural Affairs Award More Than $58 Million in Grants to Over 1,000 Nonprofits Through Cultural Development Fund

At Teatro Círculo we’re thrilled to announce that we’ve received an award from NYCulture’s Cultural Development Fund! As one of 1,000+ groups to receive a total of $58M across New York City, we’re proud to deliver arts programming that contributes to New York City’s extraordinary cultural life.

Art and culture are so important to New York City, and we’re proud to join this group of more than 1,000 organizations receiving a total of over $58 million in City support to deliver cultural programming to communities across all five boroughs.

This Cultural Development Fund grant will help support our Main Stage productions ‘Seis’ as part of CALLBACKseries2023, ‘Así se baila en el norte’ as part of DANCEseries2023 and ‘La caída de Rafael Trujillo, our ‘Abuelito, dime tú’ Program for Seniors and our Artist Development Programs (Master Class Series) ‘Verso en acción’ and ‘The Urgency of Playwrighting’.
